We Are Seeking New Team Players!!!

Baltimore Lacrosse has begun preparations for the 2011 Spring season. We are actively seeking new players at all positions, so if you are interested, please contact Coach Jackson at blccoachjax@gmail.com or Coach Daley at coachdaley@verizon.net. To be seriously considered, players should have at least 2 years of college or college club lacrosse experience. All players have to be at least 18 years of age to play and obtain a current membership in US Lacrosse as an "adult player."

Baltimore LC captures 3rd place at Mardi Gras Tournament winning 3 out of 4 games over the weekend of the "Great Baltimore Blizzard".

BLC opened up the Tournament on Friday night in the "Big Easy" by pulling together and surging ahead in the second half to take a 6-3 win over the Flying Elvi's of Memphis Tennessee. Pat Hantske had a hand in all 6 BLC goals, scoring 4v and assisting on 2. Brad Jones scored 1 and added an assist. Gavin Stringer scored 1 goal and Rob ruff added 1 assist. Larry Williams anchored the cage with 6 saves to keep the Elvi's at bay.

BLC/Dimitri's Summer Team finished out strong in the Howard County Summer League Play-offs, losing in the Championship game of the A Level, 2nd Division Tournament to "No Idea" by a score of 10-7.

The Baltimore Indoor Lacrosse League also begins on Wednesday night, September 16th and plays twice a week on Wednesday nights at Meyers Pavilion in Brooklyn & Friday nights at Duburns Arena in Canton. Limited spots available for this team. Season runs through November.

Fall Outdoor League begins on Wednesday night September 16th in Howard County. Team is almost full, so if you are interested in playing, contact Coach Daley to see if there is any room. It runs 6 weeks plus play-offs.

The Ocean City Team, bolstered with some quality young guys had a strong showing at this Tournament finishing out at 2 and 2. Check out Aaron, our mermaid, from the contest at the Bill on the Beach on Saturday night. Some action pictures are attached, please post in an appropriate link under pictures. Coach Daley went up to coach several former BLC players who joined together and played in the Lake Placid Summit Lacrosse Tournament in the Masters 1 (31-37) Division as the Harpoon Ale/Native Staffing Team. They lost their 1st game to perennial Tournament contenders Raymour & Flannigan but then went on to win their 3 remaining games at the Tournament to capture 7th place in the bracket. We are hoping that a few more Baltimore "old guys" might join us again next year? If interested, contact Coach Daley.

CONGRATULATIONS GO OUT TO SEAN DALEY ON THE BIRTH OF TWINS ON NOV 4, 2008

Connor William & Evelyn Claire, arrived late the afternoon of November 4, 2008.Evelyn arrived at 4:42PM and weighed in at 5 pounds 11 ounces. She is 18.25" tall. She was delivered by normal method. Connor arrived at 4:59PM and weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces. He is 19" tall. He tried to come out feet first, so they had to deliver him by "C" section. These are children #'s 2 & 3 for Sean and his wife Brandy.

Registration has begun for the Fall 2008 League. League normally play on Tuesday or Thursday nights beginning in early September at the DuBurns Arena in Canton.. We have open spots on the Team and will fill them on a 1st come basis. If you are interested, please contact Coach Joe Daley. 1st scrimmage is usually the 1st week in September. Fees will be forthcoming in the near future. Check back for update. Last season it was $99 League registration + $65 for uniform.

BLC/Native Staffing captures 5th place at 2008 Maryland-State of Lacrosse Tournament,(formerly The Charm City Tournament).
Jumping out to a 17-0 victory over 1st round opponent Blue Moon L.C. from the DC area, BLC/Native Staffing dropped the nightcap of day 1's "pool play" 10-3 to a powerful group of Northeastern young bucks called Suns Out/Guns Out to capture the # 2 seed in Pool "C".
